Effedue aimed to make its business flows increasingly digital and integrated, with the goal of eliminating the use of paper in both production and sales. This meant not only simplifying daily operational activities, but also overcoming inefficiencies due to manual and redundant procedures, improving the continuity and quality of data along the entire value chain.
The company wanted to intervene on the entire ecosystem of processes to make them more fluid, interconnected and efficient. It was necessary to reduce bottlenecks, minimize low value-added activities and facilitate the work of operators, function managers and the commercial area through more advanced digital tools.
To make more informed and timely decisions, Effedue needed tools that could provide structured, updated and easily accessible information. The goal was to improve the traceability of orders and materials, enabling timely control of processes and a strategic vision based on objective data.
Finally, the company was looking for qualified support to identify and select “future-proof” technological solutions: platforms capable of responding not only to current needs, but also to accompany the future growth of the organization, with a view to digital continuity and sustainability.
Per accompagnare Effedue nel suo percorso di trasformazione digitale, AzzurroDigitale ha messo in campo la figura del Digital Change Agent (DCA), un professionista specializzato nel guidare il cambiamento in contesti industriali. L’intervento è partito da una fase di analisi approfondita dell’esistente, basata su interviste ai responsabili di funzione e sessioni di affiancamento operativo con gli addetti in produzione. Questa modalità ha permesso di comprendere a fondo sia i processi strategici che quelli operativi, individuando con precisione le inefficienze, i colli di bottiglia e le lacune funzionali legate all’attuale utilizzo dei sistemi ERP e MES.
A partire da questa fotografia dettagliata della realtà aziendale, il DCA ha lavorato alla definizione di uno scenario TO-BE concreto, realistico e condiviso, in cui venissero tracciate le principali direttrici evolutive del sistema informativo e i requisiti per una digitalizzazione sostenibile nel tempo.

This immediate and precise visibility allows you to quickly identify areas that require corrective action, improving workflow and minimizing the risk of errors.
The platform is also easily accessible via mobile devices, making continuous monitoring possible across multiple shifts, both day and night. This allows for constant surveillance of the entire production process, ensuring that any anomaly is detected promptly and treated without delay. Thanks to this real-time visibility, it was possible to reduce lead times by 10%, optimizing the entire production cycle and increasing the speed of response to emerging issues.
Another significant benefit of adopting Industrial Cockpit is the reduction of paper usage in Safilo’s factories. The digitalization of processes has led to a more sustainable and efficient management of operations, eliminating the need for paper documents and improving access to information.
