The complexities arising from customized requests and variable timing required solutions that allowed for more timely planning and monitoring, reducing the risk of inefficiencies and delays.

Adopting a more agile organizational model

Transforming their organizational approach, moving from a traditional and hierarchical model to a more agile and decentralized one. The goal was to encourage work in autonomous teams, capable of making quick decisions and adapting more easily to market changes, thus improving productivity and innovation.

The solution

To meet the challenges of F.lli Poli, Wepladoo was introduced, a project management platform developed by AzzurroDigitale and designed specifically for manufacturing SMEs that work on a commission basis.

The project was divided into two main phases:

  1. Cultural and organizational change: Before introducing the technology, the company reorganized its internal structure into autonomous teams, promoting a participatory approach that facilitated the adoption of new digital solutions.
  2. Wepladoo implementation: The software was customized to support activity planning, workload monitoring and project progress. The integration of process standards, based on previous projects, allowed to reduce planning times and ensure greater consistency in procedures.

Thanks to winning the IRISS 2024 tender, F.lli Poli has started a third phase of digital evolution, introducing a Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) system for the management and reuse of company know-how. This system allows:

  • Map and store company knowledge in a database that can be easily searched via chat.
  • Generate new automated documentation, such as technical guides and reports, optimizing production times.

The results

F.lli Poli achieved significant improvements in several strategic areas thanks to the adoption of the proposed solutions. First of all, it managed to safeguard and pass on technical knowledge, concentrated in the hands of a few experts, through the creation of a digital database that stores over 90% of the company's know-how, which can be accessed via an interactive chatbot.
Thanks to the digitalization of processes and the implementation of knowledge management systems, it was possible to collect, archive and make key skills easily accessible within the organization, thus ensuring the continuity of company knowledge also in the future.

In addition, order management has improved significantly. In a context of manufacturing customized and non-standardized products, Wepladoo has allowed to optimize order planning and monitoring, reducing delivery times and improving operational efficiency. The customer now has the ability to manage customized requests more precisely, anticipating and solving problems before they become critical.
